What is Low Level Laser?
The light energy of the laser is absorbed by the skin and cells. Stimulation of points and meridians sedates the points helping to balance the energy in the organs and meridians, thus activating the release of endorphins.
There are three major types of endorphins: beta endorphins, found primarily in the pituitary gland; and enkephalins and dynorphin, both distributed throughout the nervous system. Endorphins interact with opiate receptor
neurons to reduce the intensity of pain; among individuals afflicted with chronic pain disorders, endorphins are often found in high numbers.
Behaving as a pain regulator, endorphins are also thought to be connected to physiological processes including euphoric feelings, appetite modulation, and the release of sex hormones.
Basically, the low level laser application can be viewed as "needleless acupuncture" in other words without invasiveness of needles.
However, the benefits from low level laser application last longer than acupuncture because of energy absorbtion in the surrounding skin and
cells. Most clients claim an immediate feeling of calmness and relaxation after the very first application.
